Strawberry Puff Hearts (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Pastry

01 - One or two sheets of puff pastry that's both gluten-free and vegan
02 - 4 tbsp of plant-based milk of your choice
03 - Some caster sugar for sprinkling on top

→ Filling

04 - 130g of cream cheese made from dairy-free ingredients
05 - 15g of either regular flour or gluten-free flour
06 - 15g of fine caster sugar for sweetness
07 - Fresh-cut strawberries for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 180°C (fan). Take two baking trays and cover them with greaseproof paper.
02 - Unroll the pastry, smooth out any creases, cut out heart shapes, and press smaller heart outlines in the middle.
03 - In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, and flour until smooth and creamy. Scoop the mixture into a piping bag.
04 - Pipe the filling onto the cut-out heart shapes, then add sliced strawberries on top. Brush the edges with dairy-free milk and sprinkle a little sugar.
05 - Pop the trays into the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until they turn golden and crispy. Let them cool a bit, then enjoy with a sprinkle of icing sugar on top.

# Notes:

01 - Keep in an airtight container in the fridge.
02 - These taste best if eaten within two days.
03 - Before serving, let them warm up to room temperature.
