Southern Pecan Delight (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - A heaping cup of chopped-up pecans.
02 - Three whole eggs, whisked.
03 - 1/3 cup of salted butter, melted down.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon of regular salt.
05 - 1 cup of light corn syrup.
06 - 1 cup of white sugar.
07 - 3 tablespoons of brown sugar.
08 - 3/4 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring.
09 - 1 unbaked pie crust, whole.

# Instructions:

01 - Put your ready-to-use pie crust into a 9-inch pan.
02 - Set the oven to 350°F to preheat.
03 - Combine everything: white sugar, brown sugar, salt, syrup, butter, eggs, and vanilla.
04 - Dump chopped pecans into the raw crust, then pour the filling over it.
05 - Lightly cover the pie with foil and bake it for half an hour.
06 - Take the foil off and bake again for another 20-45 minutes, until it's firm and barely wobbles.
07 - Let it sit and cool completely—this takes a few hours or leave it overnight. Slice thinly to serve.

# Notes:

01 - The total baking time can range from 50 to 75 minutes.
02 - The middle shouldn’t jiggle much when it's ready.
03 - It takes several hours for the pie to cool and firm up.
