Kafta Grill (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Meat & Produce

01 - 600 grams of lean ground beef
02 - 1 medium yellow onion, cut into quarters
03 - 1 cup of fresh parsley, cleaned and dried

→ Seasonings

04 - 1 teaspoon of salt
05 - A quarter teaspoon of black pepper
06 - ¼ teaspoon of a blend of seven spices
07 - ⅛ teaspoon of cayenne pepper (or more if you like things spicy)

# Instructions:

01 - Use a food processor to chop the onion and parsley finely.
02 - Throw the ground beef, the parsley-onion mix, and all the spices into a big bowl. Use your hands to mix it all up really well.
03 - Wrap the meat mixture around skewers, shaping it into layers about 1-1½ inches thick.
04 - On a greased grill over medium-high heat, cook them for about 4 minutes per side or until done.

# Notes:

01 - Soak your wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes so they don’t burn.
02 - If you don’t have the seven-spice mix, allspice works just fine as a replacement.
03 - Prefer burgers? Shape these into patties instead.
04 - No grill? Bake them at 375°F for about 15-20 minutes.
05 - Store leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
