Grinch Crinkle Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour.
02 - 1 spoonful of baking powder.
03 - Half a spoon of salt.
04 - 1 and a half cups of granulated sugar.
05 - Two large eggs.
06 - 1/3 cup of softened butter.
07 - 2 spoons of vanilla extract.
08 - 1/2 spoon of peppermint extract.
09 - A few drops of green coloring.
10 - Extra sugar to coat.
11 - Candy hearts for decoration.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 375°. Cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - In a bowl, stir together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
03 - With a mixer, whip up the butter and sugar until it's light and airy.
04 - Mix in the vanilla, peppermint, then the eggs one by one. Blend it until smooth.
05 - Slowly add the dry mix into the wet mixture. Stir lightly—don’t overmix.
06 - Add green coloring and knead the dough until the color is nice and even.
07 - Shape the dough into small balls and roll them in the sugar.
08 - Place dough balls on the tray and gently flatten them a bit.
09 - Push one candy heart right into the middle of every cookie.
10 - Bake for 8 minutes or until the edges just start to turn golden.
11 - Leave cookies on the tray for two minutes, then transfer to a rack to finish cooling.
