Mix the softened cream cheese, yolk from the large egg, and powdered sugar until smooth.

Set oven temperature to 350°F. Spray baking sheets lightly with oil. Unroll the crescent dough into 16 triangles, and arrange them on the sheets.

On the wide end of each triangle, spread 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mix, followed by 1 tablespoon of the cherry pie mix. Pull the pointy end of the dough over the filling, tuck in the ends, and coat with the egg white.

Cook in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes until they're golden on the outside.
