Cover the bottom of an 8- or 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.

Melt half of the white chocolate with 1/2 spoon of oil in short bursts (about 20 seconds per go). Add 1/4 spoon mint flavor. Spread into the lined pan.

Chill in the fridge for 10-15 minutes until it’s almost firm.

Melt the dark chocolate using the same method—add 1/2 spoon of oil and the rest of the mint flavor. Pour on top of the white layer.

Cool it again in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.

Melt the remaining white chocolate with the last spoon of oil. Pour over the dark chocolate layer and sprinkle the crushed peppermints.

Let it chill in the fridge for about an hour. If it’s too cold, leave it out for 10-15 minutes before handling.

Take it out of the pan, peel off the paper, and break into chunks.
