Cheesy Herb Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough Base

01 - 3/4 cup of milk, warmed up
02 - 2 1/4 teaspoons of yeast
03 - 2 tablespoons of honey
04 - 3 large eggs
05 - 3 1/2 to 4 cups of all-purpose flour
06 - 1 teaspoon of kosher salt

→ Filling

07 - 2 cups of sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
08 - 1 cup of mozzarella, cut into cubes or shredded
09 - 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, freshly grated
10 - 1/3 cup of fresh herbs like basil, thyme, sage, and oregano, chopped up
11 - 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Combine warm milk, yeast, and honey in a mixing bowl. Wait 5 minutes until it’s foamy. Mix in the eggs, salt, and 3 1/2 cups of flour using a dough hook. Add more flour as needed until the dough becomes smooth and not sticky.
02 - Cover the mixing bowl and leave it at room temperature for about an hour or until the dough doubles in size.
03 - In a bowl, combine the cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan, garlic, and fresh herbs. Mix everything thoroughly.
04 - Roll the dough into a rectangle about 12x18 inches. Spread the cheese mixture evenly on the surface, then roll it up tightly into a log. Slice the log lengthwise, twist the two halves around each other, and arrange them into a circle on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
05 - Let the dough circle rest, covered, for 15 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.

# Notes:

01 - This bread tastes amazing when served warm because the cheese is gooey at that point.
02 - If you don’t have fresh herbs, you can use dried ones but cut the quantity in half.
