Christmas Gooey Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/2 cup of powdered sugar.
02 - 1/2 cup of sprinkles for decorations.
03 - A box (15.25 oz) of yellow cake mix.
04 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla.
05 - 1 large-sized egg.
06 - 1/2 cup of softened unsalted butter.
07 - 8 oz of softened, full-fat cream cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and line baking trays with parchment paper.
02 - In a bowl, use a mixer to combine the vanilla, cream cheese, butter, and egg until smooth and creamy.
03 - Carefully stir in the cake mix until the dough gets thick. Mix in sprinkles, but don’t overdo it.
04 - Let your dough chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. It’ll make shaping easier!
05 - Scoop out 1½-inch dough balls, roll in powdered sugar, and space them 2 inches apart on the trays.
06 - Pop them in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Edges should feel set but centers stay soft. Cool on the tray before moving them to a rack.
