BBQ Pork Cheese Melt (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 slices of soft brioche bread.
02 - 1/4 cup creamy mayonnaise.
03 - 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped.
04 - 1 cup crispy onion strings.
05 - 1 pound of shredded pork.
06 - 1 cup tasty BBQ sauce.
07 - 8 slices of American deli-style cheese.
08 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil.

# Instructions:

01 - In a pan on medium heat, warm up the oil and sauté the garlic for about 30 seconds until it smells amazing.
02 - Toss the shredded pork and BBQ sauce into the pan, heating until it’s nice and warm. Then turn off the heat.
03 - Lay down one slice of brioche, put on a slice of cheese, add pork, sprinkle onion crisps, top with another slice of cheese, then close it up with a second piece of bread.
04 - Smear a thin, even coat of mayo onto the outer sides of every sandwich.
05 - Get a clean pan heated up on medium-low heat.
06 - Toast each side of the sandwich for about 2-3 minutes, flipping once, until they’re crisp and golden.

# Notes:

01 - Overfilling sandwiches makes them messy to handle.
02 - Mayonnaise browns toast better than butter.
03 - Low to medium heat ensures cheese melts perfectly.
04 - A smart way to use leftover pulled pork.
05 - Fries or coleslaw go great with these.
06 - American cheese melts smoother than other types.
