Heart Cinnamon Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 1 can (12.4 oz) of refrigerated cinnamon roll dough (such as Pillsbury) or any homemade cinnamon roll dough you prefer
02 - A bit of flour for rolling (needed only if you're using homemade dough)

→ Homemade Cream Cheese Icing (Optional)

03 - 4 ounces of cream cheese, softened to room temperature
04 - 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, left out to soften
05 - 1 cup of powdered sugar
06 - A teaspoon of vanilla extract
07 - 1–2 tablespoons of milk to thin out the frosting to your liking

→ Decoration

08 - A variety of sprinkles or sanding sugar in red, pink, and white
09 - Edible glitter for extra sparkle (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Gently unravel each cinnamon roll enough to form a pointed tip at the bottom. Adjust the top to curve it into a heart shape.
02 - If the dough gets too sticky to work with, pop it into the fridge for 10–15 minutes to firm up a bit.
03 - Bake the cinnamon rolls following the instructions provided on the packaging for store-bought dough, or as directed in your homemade recipe.
04 - Beat the cream cheese and butter together until it’s nice and smooth. Stir in powdered sugar and vanilla, then mix in a bit of milk until it reaches your preferred texture.
05 - While the rolls are still warm, spread on the icing and sprinkle your decorations right away so they stick perfectly.

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to use homemade or store-bought dough depending on your preference
02 - For a seasonal vibe, tint the icing pink or red using food coloring
03 - Tastes best when served fresh and warm right out of the oven
04 - You can color the icing with pink or red dye for Valentine's Day
