01 -
Set your oven to 400°F. Cover a baking tray with foil or parchment paper, then spray lightly with nonstick spray.
02 -
Lay the saltine crackers flat in one layer across the baking tray.
03 -
Melt the butter and brown sugar together in a small pan over medium heat. Stir until bubbly, then let it gently simmer for 3-4 minutes.
04 -
Carefully drizzle the hot butter-sugar mix over the crackers, spreading it out evenly.
05 -
Place in the oven and bake for 5–6 minutes, until the mixture is bubbling.
06 -
Take the tray out of the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Let them sit for roughly 5 minutes to soften.
07 -
Use a spatula to smooth out the melted chocolate over the surface of the crackers.
08 -
Scatter the chopped red and green M&Ms on top of the melted chocolate evenly.
09 -
Pop the tray into the fridge for a few hours or into the freezer for about 30 minutes until everything hardens.
10 -
Once firm, take it out and break it into smaller pieces with your hands.
