Spicy Bacon Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 slices of Texas toast.
02 - 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt.
03 - 6 slices of cooked bacon.
04 - 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter.
05 - 1 cup of shredded mild cheddar.
06 - 4 ounces of softened cream cheese.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
08 - 4 jalapeños, halved and with seeds removed.
09 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
10 - 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 425°F. Coat peppers with olive oil, roast for 15 minutes till browned, then cool and chop them up.
02 - Mix the cream cheese with the seasonings. Stir in the roasted jalapeños.
03 - Spread butter on the bread's outer sides. Layer cream cheese mix inside, add cheddar and bacon, then close with the second slice.
04 - Warm a skillet on medium heat. Cook sandwiches for 3-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and the cheese is gooey.

01 - Get the jalapeños ready beforehand if you want.
02 - Soft cream cheese works best.
03 - Freshly grated cheddar melts smoother.
