01 -
Mix together your flour, salt, and baking powder by sifting them into a medium-sized bowl. Leave it nearby for later.
02 -
Use a mixer to blend the margarine and sugar until they’re creamy. Cover the mix, then put it in the fridge for 2 hours.
03 -
Mix in one egg at a time with the creamed butter. Throw in the vanilla too and combine.
04 -
Stir the sifted dry ingredients gently into the blended wet stuff. Don’t overdo it.
05 -
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap once more and pop it into the refrigerator for another 2 hours.
06 -
Turn the oven on to 400°F (200°C) and grease up two cookie pans while it heats.
07 -
Roll the dough out on a floured countertop to about 1/4 inch thick. Use cookie cutters to carve out fun shapes, then arrange them on the greased pans.
08 -
Pop the cookies in the oven for 6 to 8 minutes. Once the edges turn golden, take them out. Cool briefly on the pans before transferring to a rack.
