Shrimp Linguine White Wine (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 tbsp butter, split into two portions.
02 - 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped, divided.
03 - 4 cups of chicken broth or veggie stock.
04 - 2 cups regular water.
05 - 1 lb of linguine pasta.
06 - 1 and a half pounds of large, uncooked shrimp.
07 - 3/4 cup of dry white wine.
08 - 1/4 cup fresh sage, chopped small.
09 - 1 cup heavy cream.
10 - 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded.
11 - 1/2 cup fresh parsley, roughly chopped.
12 - 1 whole lemon for flavor.
13 - Salt and pepper, adjusted to your liking.

# Instructions:

01 - Warm up a portion of butter and toss in half the garlic to sauté. Pour in broth and water, let it boil. Add linguine and cook it until most of the liquid is gone.
02 - In a different pan, sear the shrimp in some butter for 1-2 minutes on each side.
03 - Stir in the leftover garlic, sage, and wine with the shrimp. Cook it down until the wine reduces and the shrimp looks a bit browned.
04 - Combine the shrimp, cream, Parmesan, and parsley with the pasta. Add lemon juice, then flavor with salt and pepper.
