Savory Hashbrown Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - A 16-ounce bag of frozen hashbrowns, thawed
02 - 1 pound of bulk sausage, either pork or turkey
03 - 2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
04 - 6 large eggs
05 - 1/2 cup of milk or cream
06 - 1 teaspoon of kosher salt
07 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish, either 7x11 or 9x9 in size.
02 - Cook the sausage in a medium skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks. Get rid of any extra grease.
03 - In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth and combined.
04 - In the prepared dish, layer the hashbrowns first, then the cooked sausage, and finish with the shredded cheese. Pour the egg mixture on top evenly.
05 - Put the casserole in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is beautiful and golden. Let it cool for 5-10 minutes before cutting into it.

01 - You can prepare it the day before and keep it in the fridge overnight.
