Cheese Potato Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Core Ingredients

01 - 3 big brown potatoes cooked and cut into chunks
02 - 1/2 cup tangy sour cream
03 - 1/4 cup crispy bacon bits
04 - 1/4 cup fresh chopped green onions
05 - 1 chunk of cheddar cheese sliced into sticks

→ Coating

06 - 2/3 cup cornstarch
07 - 100g crunchy panko crumbs
08 - Regular flour for dredging
09 - Beaten egg for dipping
10 - 1 tsp regular table salt
11 - 1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper

→ Frying

12 - 1L neutral cooking oil like veggie canola or peanut

# Instructions:

01 - Mash together the potatoes sour cream bacon bits green onions salt and pepper until it makes a chunky spread
02 - Take some cheese sticks and pack the potato mix all around them making sure no cheese shows
03 - Roll each stick in flour then egg and finally give it a good coating of cornstarch mixed with panko
04 - Drop in hot oil at 350F and cook 3 mins till golden or pop in a 400F oven for about 15 mins
