Popular Pistachio Bark (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - Shredded pastry dough (Kataifi) (3 cups, defrosted fully)
02 - Butter, unsalted (¼ cup)
03 - Creamy pistachio spread (½ cup)
04 - Semi-sweet or milk chocolate (400g/14oz, chopped up)

→ Optional Decorations

05 - Melted white chocolate drops (2 tablespoons)
06 - Pistachios, finely crushed (1 teaspoon)
07 - Chocolate sprinkles (1 teaspoon)

# Instructions:

01 - Throw the butter in a pan, let it melt, then fry the shredded Kataifi until crispy and golden (takes about 5-10 minutes)
02 - Take half the chocolate and melt it in short 30-second bursts in the microwave, stirring each time till smooth. Spread it on a flat surface and stick it in the fridge for 10 minutes
03 - Once crispy, mix the cool Kataifi with the pistachio spread. Spread this on top of the chilled chocolate layer. Pop it back in the fridge for another 10 minutes
04 - Melt the rest of the chocolate the same way. Cover the pistachio layer entirely with it and, if you want, decorate with your chosen toppings
05 - Refrigerate for no less than 20 minutes before slicing it up

02 - You can swap out milk chocolate for dark chocolate if you like
03 - Kataifi can be replaced with crispy rice cereal or even potato chips
04 - Store in either the freezer or fridge for longer freshness
