Candy Cane Pie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3/4 cup candy canes, crushed.
02 - 2 tubs thawed Cool Whip.
03 - 1 teaspoon of peppermint extract.
04 - Red food dye.
05 - 25 Oreos, crushed.
06 - 3/4 cup powdered sugar.
07 - 5 tablespoons melted unsalted butter.
08 - 8 oz softened cream cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Break up Oreos using a rolling pin or food processor. Stir with butter and firmly press into a 9-inch pie dish. Put it in the fridge to set.
02 - Whisk together sugar and cream cheese until fluffy. Add food dye in little bits to reach the color you want.
03 - Carefully fold half the Cool Whip into the mixture along with 1/2 cup of the crushed candy canes.
04 - Spoon the filling over the crust. Add the rest of the Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with candy canes.
05 - Pop the pie in the fridge and let it chill at least an hour before eating.
