Break up Oreos using a rolling pin or food processor. Stir with butter and firmly press into a 9-inch pie dish. Put it in the fridge to set.

Whisk together sugar and cream cheese until fluffy. Add food dye in little bits to reach the color you want.

Carefully fold half the Cool Whip into the mixture along with 1/2 cup of the crushed candy canes.

Spoon the filling over the crust. Add the rest of the Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with candy canes.

Pop the pie in the fridge and let it chill at least an hour before eating.
