Bacon Cheese Topped Fries (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - Bag of frozen fries (32 oz)
02 - Bacon (½ lb, cooked and crumbled)
03 - Chopped green onions (4 stalks)
04 - Sour cream (¼ cup)

→ Cheese Sauce

05 - Butter (2 tbsp)
06 - All-purpose flour (2 tbsp)
07 - Milk (1 cup)
08 - Shredded cheddar cheese (1½ cups or 6 oz)
09 - Season with salt and pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Follow the instructions on the fry bag to bake them
02 - Heat butter in a small pot, then whisk in the flour and let it cook for a minute
03 - Slowly pour milk into the roux, cooking it while frequently stirring until it thickens (about 5 minutes). Take it off the burner and mix in cheese until melted. Sprinkle some salt and pepper to taste
04 - Pour the cheese sauce over the hot fries, top with crumbled bacon, drizzle sour cream, and finish by sprinkling the green onions
