Lasagna Meat Stack (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/3 pound ground beef, divided.
02 - 1 ciabatta roll.
03 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped.
04 - 2 tablespoons olive oil.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian herbs.
06 - 1/4 pound spicy Italian sausage.
07 - 1 boiled lasagna noodle.
08 - 3 mozzarella slices.
09 - 1 tablespoon butter.
10 - 1 tablespoon ricotta cheese.
11 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
12 - 14 ounces crushed tomatoes.
13 - A pinch of red pepper flakes.
14 - Salt and black pepper to taste.
15 - A sprinkle of oregano.

# Instructions:

01 - Spread butter on each side, sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian herbs, then heat in the broiler until brown and crisp.
02 - Sauté garlic in olive oil, pour in crushed tomatoes with spices, let cook down for about 10 minutes, then stir in the lasagna noodle bits.
03 - Shape sausage and beef into small balls, lay them in a super hot cast iron pan, smash flat into patties, fry each side for 60 seconds, then melt mozzarella on the beef patties.
04 - Stack it up this way: bottom roll, beef patty, ricotta and noodle layer, sausage patty, ricotta and noodle layer, beef patty, ricotta and noodle layer, then top roll.
05 - Let it sit for a couple of minutes before digging in to keep everything together.

01 - Makes enough sauce to prep five burgers.
