Steep the teabags along with spices in simmering water for about 5 minutes, letting all the flavors mix together.

Take the pot off the heat, stir in honey and vanilla, and give it a good mix until the honey dissolves. Take out the teabags and vanilla bean if you’ve used it.

Let the chai sit until it hits room temperature. To speed things up, use an ice bath to chill it faster.

Froth the milk with a frother or shake it up in a sealed jar. You could also slightly warm the milk and whisk it for that frothy texture.

Fill your glass with some ice, pour the cooled chai about two-thirds of the way up, and top it off with your frothy milk. Add vanilla essence here if that’s what you’re using.
