Honey Lemon Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes.
02 - 1 egg.
03 - 1 tablespoon grated ginger.
04 - 1/2 cup cornstarch.
05 - 1 large lemon, juiced and zested.
06 - 1 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce.
07 - 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped.
08 - 1 1/2 tablespoons rice vinegar.
09 - 2 tablespoons honey.
10 - 1 pound chicken breasts or thighs.
11 - 3 tablespoons olive oil.
12 - 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce.
13 - Sesame seeds and scallions for a topping.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine the lemon zest and juice with honey, soy sauce, chili flakes, and vinegar. Stir till mixed.
02 - Whisk together the egg and soy sauce in a bowl. Drench the chicken in the mixture, then dust completely with cornstarch.
03 - Fry the chicken pieces in batches until they're crispy and golden. Set them aside on a plate.
04 - Sauté the ginger and garlic, toss in the sauce mix, and stir in the chicken. Simmer until the sauce clings to the chicken.
05 - Top it off with sesame seeds and chopped scallions.
