Holiday Sugar Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger.
02 - A quarter teaspoon of cinnamon.
03 - 200g variety of nuts (like almonds, pine nuts, or pistachios).
04 - 600g of mixed dried fruits such as dates, raisins, or figs.
05 - 1 large orange, including its juice and zest.
06 - 1 tablespoon of brandy if you want.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon of powdered cardamom.
08 - 1/8 teaspoon of cloves.
09 - A quarter teaspoon of caraway seeds.
10 - 25g of ginger that’s been crystalized.

# Instructions:

01 - Stir the dried fruits together with orange juice, zest, and a splash of brandy. Let it sit while you get the nuts ready.
02 - Put the nuts in spices and toast for roughly 5 minutes. Let them cool down completely.
03 - Throw everything into a food processor and blend until it’s a sticky paste you can shape.
04 - Make small balls about the size of plums. Roll them in sugar and chill them in the fridge overnight.
05 - Roll the balls in sugar once more, then seal them in an airtight container. Let them sit for a few days before digging in.

# Notes:

01 - You can swap out the dried fruits for others.
02 - Needs a few days to set before eating.
