Sink Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 3/4 cup softened salted butter.
02 - 1/4 cup white sugar, granulated.
03 - 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar.
04 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract or bean paste.
05 - 2 egg yolks, at room temp.
06 - 1 1/2 cups plain flour.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
09 - 1/2 teaspoon powder for baking.
10 - 2 tablespoons holiday-themed jimmies (red/green).
11 - 1/3 cup white chocolate bits.
12 - 1/3 cup crushed pretzels.
13 - 1/3 cup potato chip crumbs.
14 - 1/2 cup festive M&M candies (red/green).

# Instructions:

01 - Bring your eggs to room temp and line baking trays.
02 - Beat the butter and sugars for 2 minutes. Stir in yolks and vanilla for another couple of minutes. Slowly add dry ingredients. Fold mix-ins in gently without overmixing.
03 - Scoop 20 dough balls onto baking trays, leaving 2 inches between each. Add more toppings before baking, if you’d like.
04 - Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. While still warm, use a cutter to round their shape (optional). Let cookies sit on the tray for 5 minutes before moving them to a rack to cool down further (10 minutes).

# Notes:

01 - Properly measure the flour.
02 - Let ingredients reach room temperature first.
03 - Feel free to switch up the mix-ins.
04 - Shape cookies when they’re still warm.
05 - They stay fresh for about 3 days.
06 - Great choice for holiday treats!
