Holiday Fruit Salad Mix (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 red apples.
02 - 2 green apples.
03 - 1 lemon juice.
04 - 1 lemon zest.
05 - 1 cup pecans.
06 - 1 orange zest.
07 - 3 oranges.
08 - 1 cup grapes.
09 - 3/4 cup dried cranberries.
10 - 1/2 cup orange juice.
11 - 1/4 cup sugar.
12 - 1/4 spoon apple pie spice.

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 350°. Pop pecans on a baking tray. Once you smell that nutty scent, take them out and let them cool off.
02 - Combine orange juice, sugar, apple pie spice, lemon zest, and orange zest in a small pot. Warm it up until tiny bubbles show. Cook 3-4 minutes till it thickens a little.
03 - Strain the mixture into a bowl. Let it sit and cool.
04 - Slice apples into small chunks. Toss them with part of the lemon juice to keep them fresh-looking.
05 - Peel the oranges and chop them into smaller pieces.
06 - Grab a big bowl. Add the apples, cranberries, oranges, grapes, and pecans.
07 - Pour the sauce, once cooled, over the fruit. Stir everything well. Tastes best if eaten right away.

# Notes:

01 - Store in the fridge for up to two days.
02 - Switch it up with pear slices or sprinkles of pomegranate seeds!
