Garlic Cheese Loaf (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 teaspoons garlic powder.
02 - 2 cups all-purpose flour.
03 - 1 teaspoon salt.
04 - 2 teaspoons baking powder.
05 - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
06 - 1 tablespoon sugar.
07 - 2 large eggs.
08 - 1 1/3 cups buttermilk.
09 - 4 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled.
10 - 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese.

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven on to 350°F and grease up a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
02 - Mix the flour with garlic powder, baking powder, sugar, salt, and baking soda. Toss in 2 cups of cheese and stir it all up.
03 - Whisk the eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter together until smooth.
04 - Gently combine the wet stuff with the dry mix just enough to blend. Pour it into the loaf pan.
05 - Sprinkle the last cup of cheese over the top. Cover it up with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake another 20 minutes.
06 - Leave it in the pan for 10 minutes to cool before turning it out onto a rack.

# Notes:

01 - Be careful not to overmix the batter.
02 - The foil keeps the cheese on top from browning too fast.
