Let the lime mix sit with a lid on for an hour. Then pour it through a small sieve, tossing the zest afterward. Keep any leftover syrup in your fridge for up to a week if needed.

Grab a blender and pour in half a cup of your syrup. Add the lime juice, cherry juice, ice, and optional half-and-half to the blender.
