Quick Lasagna (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound of minced beef
02 - 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
03 - Two 14-ounce cans of diced tomatoes
04 - Two 6-ounce cans of tomato paste
05 - 1 teaspoon of table salt
06 - 2 teaspoons of Italian herb mix
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
08 - 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
09 - 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
10 - 1 pack (8 ounces) of no-cook lasagna sheets
11 - 1 cup of grated mozzarella cheese
12 - 1 cup of ricotta cheese or cottage cheese
13 - 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese, finely grated
14 - 6 slices of fresh mozzarella
15 - Chopped fresh parsley to decorate

# Instructions:

01 - Cook the minced beef until brown in oil and drain any grease. Stir in the diced tomatoes, paste, and all the seasonings. Simmer for 5 minutes.
02 - In a greased baking dish, build up layers of lasagna sheets, the meat sauce, and cheeses. Keep layering and finish with the fresh mozzarella slices.
03 - Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350°F for 35-45 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes to brown the top.
04 - Leave it for 10 minutes to cool slightly before serving. Sprinkle parsley on top if you want.

# Notes:

01 - It’s okay to use cottage cheese instead of ricotta.
02 - You can skip boiling the lasagna sheets.
03 - Let it rest before slicing to serve.
