Pecan Bake Cobbler (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups pecans, either chopped or whole.
02 - 1/2 cup melted butter.
03 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
04 - 2 1/2 cups dark corn syrup.
05 - 2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract.
06 - 6 lightly beaten eggs.
07 - 1 box of refrigerated pie dough.
08 - Non-stick butter spray.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and let it get hot.
02 - Coat a glass baking pan (13x9) with non-stick butter spray.
03 - Stretch out one dough sheet into a rectangle (13x9). If it tears, press together to fix.
04 - Combine butter, vanilla, sugar, eggs, and corn syrup in a big bowl.
05 - Toss in the pecans and give it a stir.
06 - Pour half the filling onto the crust. Place the second crust over it, then pour the rest of the filling on top.
07 - Pop it in the oven for 40 to 50 minutes, letting it bake until set.
08 - Let it cool completely before slicing or eating.

# Notes:

01 - Easier to share than a classic pie. Dark corn syrup has a richer flavor—light works too.
02 - When done, the filling should have a slight jiggle. Cool fully to get the best texture.
