Crockpot Savory Stuffing (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup of butter.
02 - 2 chopped cups of onions.
03 - 2 cups of diced celery.
04 - A quarter cup of fresh parsley.
05 - 16 oz of sliced fresh mushrooms.
06 - 12 cups of cubed stuffing bread.
07 - 1 teaspoon of poultry seasoning.
08 - 1 1/2 teaspoons of ground sage.
09 - 1 1/2 teaspoons of salt.
10 - 2 teaspoons of fresh thyme leaves.
11 - 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
12 - 4 cups of broth (chicken).
13 - 2 large beaten eggs.

# Instructions:

01 - Melt the butter in a big pan. Cook the celery, mushrooms, and onions until soft. Stir in parsley, then take off the heat.
02 - Mix the bread cubes with all the seasonings. Toss them together well.
03 - Pour the cooked veggies into the bread. Add the eggs and broth, then gently toss the mixture.
04 - Spoon the mixture loosely into your slow cooker. Cook it for 4 hours on high or 8 on low. Take off the lid during the last hour, stirring now and then for crispy bits.
