Creamy Shrimp Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 tablespoon of butter.
02 - 1 tablespoon of extra-virgin olive oil.
03 - 2 cups of milk.
04 - 2 tablespoons of plain flour.
05 - A dash of ground nutmeg.
06 - Salt, based on preference.
07 - 30 raw, medium-sized shrimp, shelled and cleaned.
08 - 4 teaspoons of Italian seasoning, split.
09 - 1 sliced shallot.
10 - 1 cup of grated Cheddar cheese.
11 - 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped.
12 - 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs (dry).
13 - 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, grated.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and let it heat up.
02 - Melt the butter with oil, mix in the flour to make a paste. Slowly pour in the milk while stirring and let it thicken a bit. Add salt and nutmeg for flavor.
03 - Lay the shrimp in a baking dish, sprinkle on salt along with 3 teaspoons of Italian seasoning.
04 - Pour the sauce over the shrimp, then top it with Cheddar, shallots, parsley, and the rest of the seasoning.
05 - Spread breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan evenly over everything.
06 - Bake it for about 25 minutes until the top gets crispy.

# Notes:

01 - Using uncooked shrimp gives the best taste.
02 - The sauce should be smooth and not runny.
03 - You can assemble it earlier but don’t add the topping yet.
