Creamy Chicken Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound chicken breasts, chopped into chunks.
02 - 8 ounces of pasta.
03 - 2 cups of your favorite pasta sauce.
04 - 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped.
05 - 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
06 - 4 ounces of mozzarella cheese, cut into slices.
07 - 1/4 cup parmesan, freshly grated.
08 - 1/2 tablespoon of Italian seasoning.
09 - Salt and pepper, as you like.
10 - Optional: fresh basil, crushed red pepper, extra parmesan.

# Instructions:

01 - Sauté the chicken and garlic for 5 to 6 minutes until browned. Pour off any extra liquid and season it up.
02 - Cook the pasta just until it's tender but still firm, following the box instructions. Save 2 tablespoons of the cooking water.
03 - Stir the pasta sauce and grated parmesan into the chicken mix. Give it a good stir.
04 - Toss in the cooked pasta along with that reserved water. Lay mozzarella slices on top and cover so it melts.
05 - Add any extras like basil or chili flakes, then serve it up.

# Notes:

01 - Mozzarella can be shredded instead of sliced, if you’d like.
