01 - 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese, freshly done.
02 - 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper for heat (optional).
03 - 2 handfuls of packed baby spinach leaves.
04 - A pinch of salt and some pepper to balance.
05 - 1 pound of lean ground beef.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon of a mixed herb blend (Italian style).
07 - 1 cup of heavy cream for richness.
08 - 1 cup of uncooked orzo pasta.
09 - 3/4 cup of beef stock for added flavor.
10 - 3-4 finely chopped garlic cloves.
11 - 1/2 a medium onion diced small.
12 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire for a smoky depth.
13 - 1 can (14 oz) of smooth tomato sauce.

# Instructions:

01 - Without stirring, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat for roughly 5 minutes.
02 - Add diced onion, stir it a bit, and let it cook for another 5 minutes. Drain any fat if needed.
03 - Stir in orzo pasta, garlic, Italian herbs, and optional chili flakes. Let them warm up for about a minute.
04 - Stir in the tomato sauce, heavy cream, broth, and Worcestershire until it's all blended.
05 - Gently simmer for 10 minutes, stirring often to keep everything from sticking.
06 - Take it off the heat and mix in spinach leaves along with the parmesan cheese.
07 - Cover the pot, and give it 3-5 minutes to rest and thicken up.
08 - Taste and add salt and pepper if needed. Then dig in!

# Notes:

01 - Clean up is easier since it's all in one pot.
02 - Stir frequently to keep the pasta from sticking to the pan.
03 - Adjust liquid amounts to get the desired texture.
04 - Perfect for hectic evenings during the week.
05 - Add a bit more liquid when reheating leftovers.
