Cinnamon Sugar (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dough

01 - 4 cups of plain flour
02 - 1 teaspoon of salt
03 - A quarter cup of white sugar
04 - 2 teaspoons of yeast (active dry)
05 - A cup of warmed milk (around 110°F)
06 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla flavoring
07 - Half a cup of melted butter (unsalted)
08 - 2 large eggs

→ Topping

09 - 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
10 - 1 tablespoon of melted butter, for brushing
11 - A quarter cup of sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a big mixing bowl and stir in the warm milk, a little sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes so it can bubble up. Then throw in the melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Slowly mix in the flour until the dough is soft.
02 - Take the dough to a floured surface and knead it for about 8-10 minutes until it's smooth and stretchy. Place it in a greased bowl, cover it up, and let it sit for 1-2 hours to double in size.
03 - Roll out the dough to about a quarter-inch thickness, making a rectangle. Brush on melted butter and sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mix on top. Roll it up tightly into a log, then slice it into 12 pieces.
04 - Pop the rolls into a greased baking dish, cover it up, and let them rest for another 30 to 45 minutes. Bake them in a 350°F oven for 20 to 25 minutes until they've got a golden color. Brush with butter as soon as they come out!

# Notes:

01 - Feel free to drizzle some vanilla glaze or powdered sugar over before you serve.
02 - You can keep these in an airtight container for a few days.
