Set your oven to 425°F. Coat a big baking sheet with some grease.

Stir the sweet potatoes with 2 tablespoons of butter and a sprinkle of salt. Spread them out and bake for 20 minutes. Stir them once halfway. Aim for light browning.

Coat the apple chunks in 1 tablespoon of butter, maple syrup, and cinnamon. Stir well so everything is covered.

Combine the apples with the roasted sweet potatoes. Stir them up. Bake together another 15-20 minutes, stirring once halfway through. You’re done when everything looks golden and caramelized. Serve warm.
