Christmas Cookie Bars (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 6 tablespoons butter, melted and unsalted.
02 - 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar.
03 - 1/2 cup white sugar.
04 - 1 big egg and 1 extra yolk.
05 - 2 teaspoons of vanilla.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder.
07 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
08 - 1/2 teaspoon table salt.
09 - 2 cups of plain flour.
10 - Half a cup of chocolate chips (semi-sweet).
11 - 1/2 cup red & green M&Ms.
12 - 1/2 cup crushed pretzel pieces.
13 - 1/2 cup diced soft caramels.
14 - 2 tablespoons of festive sprinkles.

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and cut caramels into tiny bits.
02 - Melt butter, mix in both sugars. Add eggs and stir in vanilla last.
03 - Add baking soda and powder first, then stir in salt and flour softly.
04 - Toss in chocolate chips, M&Ms, pretzels, caramels, and the sprinkles.
05 - Press dough into a 9x13 dish. Bake for about 16-18 minutes or until set and golden.
06 - Let it cool entirely, then slice into bars.

# Notes:

01 - You can switch up the mix-ins however you like.
02 - Stick to stirring with a spoon, don’t use a mixer.
03 - Can stay good in the freezer for 2 months.
04 - Will keep fresh for three days on the counter.
