Festive Chocolate Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup of butter, softened
02 - 2/3 cup of white sugar
03 - 1 egg
04 - 3/4 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
05 - 2 1/4 cups of regular flour
06 - 1/3 cup of cocoa powder
07 - A pinch of salt (about 1/4 teaspoon)
08 - 10 ounces of either dark or white candy melts
09 - 3/4 cup of festive sprinkles

# Instructions:

01 - Turn your oven to 350°F and get your baking sheets ready by covering them with parchment paper
02 - Whip together the butter and sugar until it becomes light and airy, then blend in the egg, vanilla, flour, cocoa, and salt
03 - Fill your cookie press with dough, then press out shapes onto the baking sheets you prepped earlier
04 - Pop them in the oven for 5-7 minutes, just until set. Let them cool on the tray for 5 minutes, and then move them to a rack
05 - Dip the cooled cookies into melted candy melts and sprinkle on decorations. Let them dry completely before serving
