Stir together the icing sugar, coconut and condensed milk in a big bowl.

Roll the mixture into small 1-inch balls and put them on a tray lined with wax paper. Cool them until they're firm.

Pop chocolate chips and shortening in the microwave, stir until everything's smooth.

Roll the cold balls in the melted chocolate, letting extra chocolate drip back down. Set them on wax paper to harden.

Put your finished treats in the fridge.
