Chewy Cinnamon Treats (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1½ cups heavy cream.
02 - 2 cups granulated sugar.
03 - 1 teaspoon red gel food coloring.
04 - 2 teaspoons cinnamon oil.
05 - 1½ cups light corn syrup.
06 - 1 cup butter, plus extra for greasing your pan.

# Instructions:

01 - Grease a 9x13 pan with butter and leave it for later.
02 - In a large pot, stir sugar, butter, corn syrup, and cream over medium heat. Keep going until it hits 240°F, which can take about half an hour.
03 - Take it off the heat and mix in both the food coloring and cinnamon oil.
04 - Pour it into the buttered pan. Let it cool to room temperature first, then pop it in the fridge to harden.
05 - Bring it to room temperature for 10-15 minutes. Cut it up and wrap the pieces in wax paper to keep fresh.

01 - You need it to precisely reach 240°F.
02 - Don’t stop stirring while cooking.
03 - Wrap each piece before storing.
