Earl Grey Cherry Drink (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

β†’ Tea Base

01 - 1 Earl Grey tea bag or 1 tsp of loose leaves
02 - 1 cup of water

β†’ Mix-ins

03 - Half a cup of milk (any kind works)
04 - Four to five fresh cherries, pitted and cut in half
05 - One or two teaspoons of vanilla syrup

β†’ Optional Additions

06 - One stick of cinnamon
07 - Ice cubes (if you want it chilled)

# Instructions:

01 - Put the cherries in a small pan, add 2 tablespoons of water, and let them simmer for around 3 to 5 minutes. Gently mash after softening.
02 - Pour hot water over the tea bag or loose leaves and let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the leaves or tea bag after brewing.
03 - Heat the milk in a pan along with the soft cherries. Add the cinnamon stick if you'd like. Stir every so often while warming.
04 - Mix in the vanilla syrup to the milk and cherry combo. Adjust to your preferred sweetness level.
05 - Take a mug, pour in the brewed tea, and strain the milk mixture into it, pressing the cherries to get all the juice out. Stir everything together thoroughly.
06 - Serve it right away while it’s warm, or let it cool and add ice for a cold version. Add a cherry or a cinnamon stick on top for a fancier look, if you want.

# Notes:

01 - You can enjoy it either hot or iced.
02 - Any milk variety will work perfectly.
03 - The sweetness is flexible, adjust to your taste.
04 - Decorating with cherries or cinnamon is optional.
