Put the cherries in a small pan, add 2 tablespoons of water, and let them simmer for around 3 to 5 minutes. Gently mash after softening.

Pour hot water over the tea bag or loose leaves and let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the leaves or tea bag after brewing.

Heat the milk in a pan along with the soft cherries. Add the cinnamon stick if you'd like. Stir every so often while warming.

Mix in the vanilla syrup to the milk and cherry combo. Adjust to your preferred sweetness level.

Take a mug, pour in the brewed tea, and strain the milk mixture into it, pressing the cherries to get all the juice out. Stir everything together thoroughly.

Serve it right away while itβs warm, or let it cool and add ice for a cold version. Add a cherry or a cinnamon stick on top for a fancier look, if you want.
