Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Scoop teaspoon-sized portions onto parchment paper and freeze for 30 minutes.

Beat butter and sugars until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt separately. Mix into butter mixture gradually. Stir in chocolate chips.

Heat oven to 350°F. Flatten 2 tbsp dough, add frozen cheesecake filling, cover with 1 tbsp dough. Seal edges.
