Flaky Cranberry Brie Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 defrosted puff pastry sheet.
02 - 8 ounce brie wheel.
03 - 1/2 cup broken pecan pieces.
04 - 1 cup cranberry sauce with berries.
05 - 1 large egg yolk.
06 - 1 tablespoon water.

# Instructions:

01 - Let pastry thaw as the package says. Heat your oven to 400°F.
02 - Set brie in the middle of your pastry. Add cranberry sauce and sprinkle pecans on top.
03 - Snip leaf patterns from the edges if you want. Pull pastry corners upward and squeeze edges together, then put your leaf shapes on the top.
04 - Mix egg yolk and water, then paint the outside of the pastry for a nice golden finish.
05 - Pop it on a paper-lined tray for 18-20 minutes until it's puffy and golden.

01 - Best eaten right away while hot.
02 - Tasty with apple slices or crackers.
03 - Try swapping pecans with almonds or walnuts.
