# Ingredients:

03 - 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - 2 tablespoons dark cocoa powder
05 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

07 - 1 teaspoon baking powder

→ Wet Ingredients

08 - 1 tablespoon vinegar (white)
09 - 1/2 cup softened butter (unsalted)
10 - 1 teaspoon vanilla
11 - 1 cup buttermilk
12 - 2 large eggs
13 - 1/4 cup vegetable oil
14 - Black gel or paste food coloring

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F and get your two 9-inch round pans ready.
02 - Whip the butter and sugar until light and creamy. Stir in the oil, eggs, vanilla, and vinegar.
03 - Slowly mix in alternating amounts of the sifted dry mixture and buttermilk. Stir in food coloring last.
04 - Pour the batter evenly into the pans and bake for 25-30 minutes. Check for doneness.
05 - Let cakes sit in the pans for 10 minutes, then move to a cooling rack to cool completely.

01 - If you want a darker black tone, use more food coloring.
