Beef & Cabbage Bites (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - A pound of ground beef, 80% lean
02 - One fresh lime (zest its skin and squeeze for juice)
03 - Half a teaspoon of crushed red pepper
04 - Two garlic cloves, minced
05 - Three cups of shredded red cabbage
06 - Eight pieces of either flour or corn tortillas
07 - A ripe avocado for topping
08 - Sour cream for adding on top
09 - Pickled jalapeños for extra zing
10 - Salt, as needed, for taste
11 - Some lime slices on the side for squeezing, if serving

# Instructions:

01 - In a bowl, mix together the ground beef, lime zest, lime juice, garlic, red pepper, and some salt
02 - Get a pan super hot, then toss in the seasoned beef, stirring now and then until it’s browned, about 7 minutes
03 - Stir shredded red cabbage into the pan, sprinkle a bit more salt, and cook until it softens, 2–4 minutes
04 - Lightly toast your tortillas to heat them up
05 - Fill tortillas with the beefy cabbage mix and pile on your favorite toppings—avocado, sour cream, and jalapeños are great options
