01 -
Crank your oven up to 350°F (175°C) and let it warm up.
02 -
Unwrap the brie cheese. If it’s in a wooden box, pop it back in after unwrapping—it makes for a cute dish. Or just place it in a small baking dish if you don’t have the box.
03 -
Take a sharp knife and lightly slash a crisscross pattern on the surface of the brie. Doing this helps the jam seep in while it bakes.
04 -
Spread the fig jam over the scored brie. Go ahead and sprinkle on the nuts, thyme, or drizzle with honey if you're using those extras.
05 -
Slide it into the preheated oven and let it bake for about 15-20 minutes. You can check if it’s ready when it feels soft and gooey at a gentle press.
06 -
Give it about 5 minutes to cool down a bit, and then serve it up with your choice of crackers, bread slices, or fresh fruit.
